I was unexpectedly delayed coming home and by booking through Purple Parking (or any other 3rd party) there is nothing that can be done but pay the £62 daily overstay charge! For this reason, I will go through official airport booking sites in future.

Change the instructions on your site, tell clients that they need to collect a ticket on the way in and that on the return they need to put the ticket through the pay machine even though there is no charge.

Booked Orange at Stansted on 14/1 for 16th-17th Jan. Arrived on 16th and car no. not recognised and lady on Help Button had no record of booking. Took ticket to enter and fly to a funeral. Tried to contact you thru BOT on 17th -43rd in queue to start with. Started chatting and got bounced out. 44th in queue on 2nd attempt. Your agent, Shannon, tried to fob me off with "it will be ok just press help button" but agreed to contact Stansted while I waited - AGAIN bounced out of your system. Had to leave then to fly back (this had taken over 50mins so far!) and had to suffer mental anguish of not knowing if I would have to pay again at Stansted and go through rigmarole of claiming back thru you - all this in an already stressful situation. I have an account with you and you have my contact details. Why couldnt you phone me to confirm everything was ok? When I got to Stansted. The barrier still would not lift but - this time - after a lengthy conversation with the Help Desk, they lifted the barrier. I am not impressed that you don't offer direct contact from your agents when they can see I nedd reassurance that an issue has been sorted out. Stansted tell me that they sometimes do not get details of your bookings on their system for 7 days after the booking is made. If this is the case, you clearly need a new system for short notice bookings. It isn't rocket science!!
