Security Measures

Liverpool Premium Parking is an official on-airport car park, managed by Liverpool John Lennon Airport. They have high levels of security, with a high-tech CCTV system, electronically controlled entry and exit barriers, Automatic Number Plate Recognition, and 24 hour security patrols with a dedicated car park security team. All of the on-airport car parks at Liverpool John Lennon Airport hold the 'Park Mark' award for safer parking.

Maximum Car Size

There are no height restrictions at this car park, however please note that they do not allow trailers, or coaches. Any vehicles requiring more than one space must be booked via their call centre on 0844 871 7496.

Liverpool Premium Car Parking can only be pre-booked - you cannot use this exclusive parking area without a pre-booked reservation as spaces are limited! The Premium Car Park boasts a dedicated entrance and exit route, away from all the other terminal traffic. This Car Park offers ultra-convenience and exclusive service. This car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR). It is therefore essential that you supply your correct car registration at the time of booking to ensure that you have a hassle-free parking experience.

Cancellations made with at least 24 hrs notice are refunded in full. Within 24 hrs bookings are charged in full.

  • From the North/North-East: Take the M6 to Junction 21A with the M62.
  • Please note that Junction 21A is a split junction, and motorists should ensure they come off at the slip road signposted Liverpool.
  • Follow M62 westbound to Junction 6 and onto the A5300.
  • Follow the A5300 onto the A561 and follow the signs to Liverpool John Lennon Airport (situated off Speke Hall Avenue).
  • From Speke Hall Avenue, turn left along Dunlop Road, which in turn becomes Hale Road, following the green signs to RVP.
  • After ½ a mile, turn right following the signs for RVP and then follow the signs for the 'Premium Car Park'.


  • From the South/East: Take the M6 to Junction 20 with the M56.
  • Follow M56 to Junction 12 and onto the A557/A562 dual carriageway via Runcorn Bridge to merge with A561.
  • Follow the signs to Liverpool John Lennon Airport (situated off Speke Hall Avenue).
  • From Speke Hall Avenue, turn left along Dunlop Road, which in turn becomes Hale Road, following the green signs to RVP.
  • After ½ a mile, turn right following the signs for RVP and then follow the signs for the 'Premium Car Park'.


  • From the Wirral/North Wales: Passengers travelling from the Wirral may find it more convenient at peak times to use the M53 and then the M56 rather than a route through the City Centre of Liverpool via the Mersey Tunnels.
  • Passengers travelling from North Wales should join the A55 to connect with the M56 eastbound.
  • Follow M56 to Junction 12 and onto the A557/A562 dual carriageway via Runcorn Bridge to merge with A561.
  • Follow the signs to Liverpool John Lennon Airport (situated off Speke Hall Avenue).

Arrival Procedure

Drive up to the entry barrier, the ANPR system will read your vehicle registration number and automatically issue you with a ticket, your pre-booked reference number and vehicle registration number will be printed on the ticket (please wait about 20 seconds for this process). Remove the ticket, and the barrier will rise allowing you to enter. Please retain the ticket and keep it safe as you will need this to exit. Should the system fail to recognise your vehicle or the barrier does not rise for you automatically when you arrive at the airport, please press the intercom for assistance. Please have your booking reference to hand.

Transfer Details

Transfers are not required as the car park is less than a 60 second walk from the terminal.

The Premium Car Park is located within the airport boundary, adjacent to the terminal building.

Departure Procedure

Drive to the exit barrier and insert your car park ticket. The barrier will rise automatically allowing you to exit.
