The car park is open 365 days a year.

Security Measures

The car park has 24hr security staff & CCTV and has a Park Mark award. The compound is fully secured with barriers and fencing.

Facilities for disabled persons

The car park has disabled toilets and disabled access to buses where customers can remain seated. There are also Blue Badge holder bays situated close to the front of the car park.

Vehicle Restrictions

Please note that your chosen car park charges an extra £5 per day for larger vehicles, however vehicles such as PICCASSO'S or SCENIC's are charged the normal rates.

PLEASE NOTE THAT LARGER VEHICLES ARE CHARGED AN EXTRA £5.00 PER DAY BY THE CAR PARK. VEHICLES SUCH AS PICCASSOS OR RENAULT SCENICS ARE CHARGED AT NORMAL RATES.

Cancellations

Cancellations made with at least 24 hrs notice are refunded in full. Within 24 hrs bookings are charged in full.

• From Glasgow & The North: Follow the M77 from Glasgow following the signs for Prestwick Airport.
• Pass the Kilmarnock turn off and continue on the A77 to the Dutchouse Roundabout.
• Take the 2nd exit and head for Monkton Village.
• Carry on past the BP Petrol Station & the Travel Inn on your left.
• Continue and follow the road round as it veers left.
• Continue for roughly 750 yards and Watson's Ayr Park is on the right hand side.

• From the South: Head up the A77 following the signs for Prestwick Airport.
• Pass the Whitletts Roundabout and continue straight ahead following the signs for Monkton.
• On reaching the Dutchouse Roundabout take the 1st exit and head into Monkton Village.
• Continue and follow the road round as it veers left.
• Continue for roughly 750 yards and Watson's Ayr Park is on the right hand side.

• From the West: Come down the A78 following the signs for Prestwick Airport.
• Carry on past Irvine and Troon and head for the Monktonhead Roundabout.
• Go straight through and head into Monkton Village.
• At the traffic lights take a left then first right continue roughly 750 yards and Watson's Ayr Park is on the right hand side.

Arrival Procedure

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your check-in time. On arrival at the car park barrier roll down your window and the staff in the office will contact you by way of intercom. They will check your information and inform you where to park. Once you have parked, head to the nearest bus stop. When all passengers have been picked up the bus will leave and you will be dropped off at the bus stop at Prestwick Airport.

Transfer Details

The car park offers courtesy transfers to and from the airport every 15 minutes which takes 6 -7 minutes.

Distance To Airport

Watson's Ayr Park is located about 2 miles from the airport terminal.

Departure Procedure

On your return head to the same bus top where you were dropped off and the bus will pick you up. There is no need to phone unless you are returning late as the drivers have a full list of the passengers they are expecting. If you feel that you have waited too long please feel free to call us in case there has been an error with your flight details.

"Not clear that you had to call for assistance at entry barrier (Prestwick Car Park 3)rather than press for a ticket. Note because of proximity of car park to airport, there was no courtesy mini bus. This resulted in quite a long walk pulling luggage through very difficult weather conditions when returning home. "
