This is a self park option and there is no requirement to hand your keys in.
Please allow 30 minutes on top of your recommended check-in time to arrive at the car park and make the transfer to the terminal.
Cancellations made with at least 48 hrs notice are refunded in full. Within 48 hrs bookings are charged in full.

Entry Procedure: Your registration number will be recognised at the entry barrier and a ticket will be printed showing your registration and booking ref. If a ticket is not issued automatically, please press intercom button for assistance. Do NOT insert Credit Card
Transfer from car park to terminal:
Take the 8-10 minute courtesy bus shuttle to the terminal. Buses arrive every 15 minutes and are available 24 hours per day.
Transfer from terminal to car park:
On arrival follow signs for "Buses to Long Stay car park". Courtesy coaches are located at the Long Stay bus stops in front of the terminal. Please ensure that the coach you board is going to the correct zone indicated on your ticket.
Distance To Airport
Drive up to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket that was issued on entry to the car park. If you have pre-booked DO NOT insert Credit Card at the barrier as you may be charged again. The barrier will open and you may proceed out of the exit. If you experience any difficulties, please press the call button for assistance.
Value for money:
"There were no problems. I made an online booking. Electronic recognition of car at car park barrier - there were clear directions to available parking spaces. Return journey was equally straightforward. The post code given for the car park does not seem to exist. I used the post code of nearby Hilton Hotel which worked fine. The long-stay car park is in any case well signed"

"On my return on 26th September my exit ticket did not work. The exit barrier machine wanted to charge me Â£133 to let me out. The help button put me intouch with a car park employee who was a model of courtesy and helpfulness.He tracked my original purchase and got me on my way home. He deserves a commendation."

"It would be very helpful if you could put a few 'Row' signs ALONG the row and not just at each end. The rows are very long and, having parked somewhere in the middle of a row, couldn't actually see what row we were in! Also perhaps sub-section the rows by another category to assist location when returning to the car."

"Excellent service yet again. Only a small problem was that the bus on return to car park was almost bursting at the seems it was so full, would have thought there would have been an extra bus laid on as the amount of people would have informed you when they were returning."

"Wouldn't use Stanstead airport - but parking ok .. My only criticism is the bus drivers intercom being on all the time - so not sure if he was making announcement or just talking and also amplifying all the voices and assorted noises..."

"The only negative is the stampede and crushing on the bus on the return journey. Obviously all wish to get to their cars especially if they have had to wait for 15 minutes. What really does not help is that some people place their small cabin bags in the lower compartments, leaving no room for one's large bags. So, one either has to begin rearranging the use of the luggage holds or stand in the gangway with one's bag, taking up floor space that another passenger could use. Not sure how you would educate the masses to put smaller bags in the upper compartments big signage?"

"The car park we were directed to on arrival was full with many cars driving around in circles. Efficient bus driver telephoned in for next available car park and guided us to it. Time wasted if you were running late. On our return journey, we did not have to wait long for bus but number of people queuing grew and everyone tried to push in which made it very awkward to get cases on. No one would move down the bus when asked by the Driver and a lot of shuffling and moaning took place, including passengers arguing. The Driver was excellent but we did have to travel to lots of stops before disembarking. As eldery and infirm people were standing, trying to keep hold onto their bags, it was a long journey. It would be helpful if more buses were available when flights come in. Otherwise, excellent service and professional staff. Thank you."

"Very convenient service. The bus stops were conveniently located and we didn't have to wait for the bus for long. Using NHS discount made it an even better value for money booking. I would recommend this service. I had used meet and greet service previously and found purple parking to be less hassle and didn't have to go to the reception. the barrier automatically recognised the car and let me in. "

"We arrived back at a peak time - the middle of the day on a Saturday & were disappointed at how long we had to wait for the bus (would have expected extra buses at peak times) plus how long it took to wend its way round 2 car parks before it got to our stop. Not ideal after a tiring journey."

"There is still some confusion at the return airport bus top as to whether or not there is a special "Purple Parking" area - which I now know there is not. Could this be made clearer at the stop, whether or not it might have been on your documents received before the holiday."
