What is
Fastrack? |

Fastrack is our new booking procedure which reduces
the time taken to book
Using Fastrack enables a registered Fastrack customer
to complete a booking faster than our standard booking.
We can do this because at registration you set up a
profile of personal details, which we store and use
to make your bookings. You do not have to key that information
in for each booking, which means you can book faster. |

How can I use
Fastrack? |

To use Fastrack booking, you have to be a Registered user and create
a user profile

How do I
register to use Fastrack? |
| |
Click on the animated Fastrack link on the home page to go to
the Fastrack log in page and then click the Fastrack
registration button.
Existing Purple club members who wish to upgrade to Fastrack
should type in the following link in their browser address window

Why do I have
to complete my Profile at registration? |

This profile contains your personal data pertaining
to a booking, such as name, address, car registration,
and credit card payment details. Without the data
we cannot complete a booking. We store this data and
use it to complete your bookings when
you book through Fastrack. |

Do my credit
card details have to be stored? |
| |
Corporate clients that have prior agreement with Purple Parking Limited will not have to store
their payment details but all other customers will have to provide their payment details to use Fastrack.
If you do not wish to provide these details for
us to store, then, unfortunately you cannot use Fastrack booking.
In this case you should use our standard booking pages or telephone
our reservations department on 0845 450 0808 or 020 8813 8130

How secure are
my details? |

We store your details on our secure server Part of
your profile creation is to set up a password that
is memorable to you. This together with your surname
becomes your unique key to the Fastrack booking system.
Your password is stored away from your personal
data. Your data is only accessed through an encrypted
form of the password.
The system will automatically check your password
when you create it and will not allow insecure ones
like "ABCDEFG" or "123456"
For added security, as part of your profile creation,
you will need to create a security question and response
(the security question response must be more than
one word).
If you forget your password, and you click on the
forgotten your password button, then this question
and its response form part of the two stage security check, that
you must pass before you can change your password.

How do I book
with Fastrack once I have registered? |

On the home page, click on the animated Fastrack
log-in link.
Once the log-in page is displayed, enter your your
travel details and your log-on details (surname/password)
To book, simply click the book
button
If you wish to check availability and price of your chosen parking
service before booking, click the check
price button after entering the required details. a
bar beneath this button will display the price and availability.
If everything is to your satisfaction you can then enter any remaining
details that are required and click the book
button.
If all is well and your booking has been accepted, you will be
looking at the booking confirmation page. This page will have
your booking reference on it and all your booking details. A confirmation
e-mail will also have been sent to the e-mail address in your
profile.
If your booking has not been accepted, you will be
looking at an error page, detailing the reason for
the rejection.
If it is a problem with the information you provided, you may
click the back button (please,
not your browser back button), re-enter the information and resubmit
your booking. Other problems may require a call to our reservations
department.
Please note: You do not need to enter your password and surname
to obtain an availability price check

How do I
change my profile after I have registered? |

On the home page, click on the animated Fastrack log-in link.
Once the log-in page has been displayed, enter your surname and
password, then click the amend profile
button.

I have
forgotten my password? |
| |
On the home page, click on the animated Fastrack log-in link.
Once the log-in page has been displayed click on the forgotten
your password button. A pop-up screen will take you
through the two step security process to change your password.
An e-mail notification that the password has been
changed will be sent to the e-mail address provided
in your profile.
This notification will not contain the new password |

Can I get an e-mail
confirmation of my booking? |

If you have completed all the booking steps correctly, an automatic
e-mail confirmation of the booking will be sent to the e-mail
address provided in your profile. However, you will not receive
a booking confirmation e-mail if the e-mail address provided in
your profile is not correct

What should
I put in the source code field if I do not have one? |
| |
If you do not have one, do not worry. As a Fastrack registered
customer, you are automatically given the code PPMEM
when you register, so you can leave it blank.
If you are a corporate customer, you will have been given a different
source code and you should use it when booking or checking prices
and availability. If you have arrived at Fastrack through your
own home page the source code will be pre-filled for you.

How do I check
price and availability ? |

On the Fastrack log-in Page
Select your Airport and parking service
Select your departure and return dates (by drop down or pop
up calendar)
Enter your Arrival /Meet time
Enter your source code, if you have one
Click the check price button
and after a few seconds the page will redisplay with the results
of the availability-price check in a purple band below the check
price button. If you then wish to book, simply enter
the rest of the details required, and click the book
button.
If you already know the price for your selected airport and parking
service, simply fill in all your details and click the
book button. Fastrack will check availability and,
if there is space available, book it in one step.

Can I use Fastrack
for all airports I want to book parking for? |

Fastrack is able to book parking at all the airports we service
in the UK
|
| Q14. |
When I click
on the calendar, my browser pops up a message saying I am leaving
the secure connection and then pops up another message saying I
am about to enter a secure connection. Why? |
| |
Because the calendar is in a pop up window, it will invoke this
message on some types of browser if the option to warn about entering
and leaving a secure connection is set to on. This is because
you are physically leaving one window and entering another when
you invoke the calendar. You can set this warning to off, by ticking
the 'In the future do not show this warning' on the pop up message
or by removing this from your Internet options (see your browser's
help)
To know if you are in a secure connection or not, look for the
closed padlock on your browser's status line. If it is present
then you are currently under a secure connection and your details
are secure.
