Newcastle Airport offers fast-track security passes

Newcastle International Airport is offering travellers special security passes to help speed up their journey through the departure lounge.
Costing £3, the passes give passengers access to a specific fast-track channel, in which they will be processed more quickly than usual.
The tickets can be purchased from one of two kiosks located near to the security search area in the terminal and children under the age of five are able to enjoy the advantages for free, provided they are being accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
Newcastle Airport announced the scheme today (April 8th) and a full explanation of how it works is available on the hub's official website.
The service may be of benefit to those enjoying the new summer routes introduced to the travel base for this year.
In January, Thomas Cook UK & Ireland announced that it would be running flights to Bourgas, Bulgaria and Izmir, Turkey from Newcastle for the first time.
