Heathrow Airport searches for popular travel accessories
Wed, 08 Sep, 2010
Heathrow Airport has launched a new scheme to find the products which passengers view as the best travel accessories.
Director of communications for the airport Malcom Robertson explained that the airport looked forward to hearing the views of passengers.
"Our awards help us better understand what our passengers think will make their journeys better and we look forward to hearing what they have to say this year," he said.
The launch follows criticism from Heathrow Airport about the findings of a Kelkoo report into the airport's pricing, which it described as "misleading and incorrect".
The awards aim to increase the recognition of important products which enhance the journeys of passengers and the winning items will be promoted in the airport's stores.
Special voting pods are available in Heathrow's Terminals 1 and 5, or alternatively, voters can log on to the airport's website and participate there. The winners are scheduled to be announced in October.
