Heathrow Airport has received a prestigious award for providing the best shopping for the second year in a row.
Readers of Business Traveller magazine voted for Heathrow, which also achieved second place in the rankings for best European airport, narrowly losing out to Amsterdam.
Director of retail concessions at Heathrow Airport Brian Woodhead expressed his delight at receiving the award and claimed it was a "credit" to the hard work of staff.
"The Business Traveller Awards are highly regarded within the industry so we are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised as the best airport for shopping for a second year running," he said.
Heathrow Airport boasts more than 500 shops, featuring premium bands such as Harrods, Gucci and Prada. It recently opened a new Burberry shop in its Terminal 5 building.
Earlier in the month, the airport was granted the prestigious Carbon Trust Standard for its efforts towards improving its carbon efficiency.
