Birmingham Airport has been voted as the winner of the prestigious silver award in the Best Airport Car Park category by readers of Holiday Extras.
Head of market development commercial at the airport Richard Gill expressed his delight at receiving the award and claimed it was made more special as it was voted for by passengers.
"We pride ourselves on convenient car parking that is within easy walking distance of the terminals and work with our partner, NCP, to offer the best service standards," he said.
The silver Holiday Extras Customers' Awards 2010 was granted to Birmingham Airport's short to medium stay car park one and participants rated their travel experience across 12 categories.
Car park one recently received a £14 million extension to increase its number of spaces by 1,500.
Birmingham Airport recently revealed that it had reduced its aircraft fuel consumption and noise emissions, saving more than 13,000 tonnes of C02 over the past 12 months.
