Heathrow Airport plays host to giant suitcase

A giant suitcase has been installed at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 to celebrate the winners of the airport's recent awards.
The 2010 Heathrow Travel Product Award winners, which include the Harrods Paddington Bear, an Apple MacBook Pro and Ray-Ban Black Suspended Lens sunglasses, will all be displayed in the suitcase during October.
Retail concessions director at Heathrow Airport Brian Woodhead said it was great to see what products are valued by passengers.
"We hope the awards will not only raise awareness of the offerings at Heathrow … but also our commitment to making every journey better than the last one," he said.
The giant suitcase stands at a height of almost three meters and could potentially hold over 21,000 pairs of knickers, 10,000 bottles of sun cream and 83,000 UK passports.
Heathrow Airport recently scooped an award of its own when it was voted best airport for shopping in the Business Traveller Awards.
