Tue, 12 Oct, 2010
East Midlands Airport has announced a replacement for its current managing director Penny Coates.
Brad Miller, who presently serves as projects and procurement director for Manchester Airports Group, will take over from Ms Coates as of this month.
"I'm obviously very proud to have been chosen as the new MD and I'm looking to grow our market share at East Midlands," he said.
Mr Miller went on to highlight his commitment to bringing "new ideas to the fore" at East Midlands Airport and noted that there was "much to work on" in the freight community at the hub.
Penny Coates will take over the role of chief operating officer at Manchester Airports Group and expressed her delight at Mr Miller's appointment, claiming he will do an "excellent job".
Last month, East Midlands Airport received the award for Star Regional UK Airport as part of the Travel Bulletin 2010 Star Awards.
