London's Heathrow Airport has been promoted as containing some of the UK's finest eateries.
Skyscanner's guide to gourmet airport restaurants around the world promoted Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 as home to some fine dining venues.
"Heathrow Airport’s £4billion Terminal 5 is the UK’s largest free-standing building, and also boasts some of the finest dining in the country," said the guide.
It went on to cite Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food as one of the facility's best eateries, noting its breakfast and children's menus - carefully prepared by acclaimed celebrity chef Stuart Gillies.
The guide also pointed out that passengers rushing to catch a flight can pick up a fully-equipped picnic basket for their flight, served in a security-friendly carry-on bag.
Heathrow Airport recently reported that it expected the start of the half-term break this year to be one of its busiest weekends, with more than 800,000 passengers predicted to pass through its gates.
