Manchester Airport has received accolades for the cuisine it provides on-site.
The facility was a finalist in the inaugural Food and Beverage awards, an event which highlighted the best airport eateries from around the world.
Organised by the Moodie Report as part of the first ever Food and Beverage Conference, the ceremony was held at Manchester Airport's Concorde Conference Centre and saw 170 food fans attend.
Despite making the shortlist for its food and drink, the hub lost out to Heathrow Airport's terminal Five and Amsterdam Schiphol's Terminal One.
Manchester Airport received the praise of judges for its consumer-focused approach and its wide variety of shops, eateries and bars.
Last month, staff at the hub were commended by managing director Andrew Harrison for the roles they played in keeping the facility operational during the spate of harsh weather.
"It's a real achievement to keep the airport moving" He said."[They all] deserve a big pat on the back,"
