A great way to save yourself time and money, Birmingham Airport's Drop Off is not only convenient for access to the main terminal, but it's also free for up to 10 minutes. The main terminal can be reached on foot via a covered walkway, within 5 to 10 minutes. Alternatively, passengers can also take the regular free bus service that operates between the car parks and the terminal.
If you exceed the 10 minutes free parking, you'll need to make your way to one of the pay stations where you can pay by debit or with credit card.
Special Assistance: While the Drop Off Car Park has bays set aside for disabled drivers, it's recommended that Blue Badge holders park at the Premium Set Down Car Park, where you can take advantage of having the first 30 minutes for free.
Premium Set Down
The most convenient drop off option, the Premium Set Down offers hassle-free parking for those dropping off passengers at Birmingham Airport and costs just £4.00 for the first 15 minutes. Located right outside the terminal building, your loved ones will only need to take a short 1-minute walk to the terminal.
Perfect if your passengers have lots of luggage or young children, parking is just £5.00 for up to 15 minutes.
Special Assistance passenger drop off and pick up: Blue badge holders can park at the Premium Set Down for 30 mins, for free. If you're going to be longer than 30 minutes, you'll find that the normal tariff charges apply and you will be charged.
Drive an electric vehicle (EV)?: EV drivers using the charging points are entitled to a reduced tariff on the Premium Set Down car park, with parking at £5.00 for the first 90 minutes, £5.00 per 15 minutes thereafter.
Car Park 1, 2 & 3 (Pick Up)
Picking up passengers? Then Car Parks 1, 2 and 3 are the most convenient option. These multi-storey car parks are adjacent to the terminal and only a short 2-minute walk from the Arrivals gate, making them easy to access for passengers and drivers. They're affordable too, with charges starting from £8.50 for up to an hour.

How do you pay for Premium Set Down parking at Bristol Airport?
Once you have dropped your passenger off, you will need to pay at one of the pay machines at the on-site, either by card or cash. Alternatively, you can pay at the exit point but this is card only. If you pay at the pay machines then the barrier will automatically raise as you approach the exit.
