Provide details on whether car park ticket issued on arrival has to be put in the pay machine even if pre booked and paid, or just need to go to exit. Our ticket didn't work.

I didn't take my own car as it exceeded the length limit of 4.8m and I assumed there must be a tight circular exit road with high kerbs you often get in multi storey car parks that could damage wheels etc. It turned out there is no problem like that, and there were plenty of longer cars there. I thought it was otherwise excellent for space and location.

I was not able to access the car park at the gate wouldn't open and there was nobody to talk to when I pressed the button for help I subsequently then had to pay for additional parking which cost me over £60 so I'm not very happy and it's already paid £29 to park in the multi-story

Two things: Couldn't find the car quickly on return, more numbers/letters would have helped. Nothing to say I needed the ticket on the way out, so had to scramble around in luggage to find it.
