Signage to correct parking area for bus pickup was unclear, yes l could see some parking areas where closed but didn’t understand the implications, ie. 10 min walk with suitcases to an operational bus stop, signage should indicate NO BUS SERVICE.

Arrived early hours in the dark. Signs said spaces in area D. Passing area C we and others saw spaces and parked. Waited over the 10 minutes advertised only for the pickup bus to ignore us and others waiting. Called for help and a fairly rude individual just said area C is closed. Area C entrance was not closed off and poor signage in the dark just said there were spaces in area D and not that you must park there. Several groups had to get in their cars and move. All this at 3am in the dark with a plane to catch. Very poor organisation.

Bus was punctual and parking was easy to find. The bus stop closest to our car was closed unfortunately, so we had a short walk.

Price very good compared to "turn-up" price. Directions from Purple were very helpful and to are directed to an area with space. Buses run every 10 minutes and take 5-10 mins, dropping right outside the terminal check-in desks. No long distance to walk which we had last time we flew from Stansted.

Barrier didn’t open when arriving at 3 in the morning,pressed help button and no one answering, I then took a ticket but worried for all my journey that I could be charged again which resulted in me having to get in touch while on my holiday only to be to Told had to get in touch directly with the car park itself .I spent the first day worrying until it was sorted but still was worried until I was back and retrieved my car

Little information about where to park, or witch section to use. I arrive there about 3 am, ring the bell and told me to park in section C, then after dragging our suitcases to the bus stop there was a sign saying that it was close so we have to drag our bags to the nearest bus stop (we tried 2) and they were close. Luckily I saw 2 members of the staff around and ask them where I can catch the bus and they told me that I shouldn't have park in section C , That I need to go back to my car and drive to section D and finally we were able to catch our bus to the airport. On our way back (4:30am) when I put the card on the exit machine it didn't work, the bar didn't go up and the machine had a message saying that I have to pay an extra £275 for my parking. I ring the bell for help and the gentleman fix it but without giving me any explanation of the situation. I have used Purple parking in many occasions in Gatwick, Luton and Heathrow with no trouble at all, but my experience in Stanted was very stressful.
