Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey WestI emailed purple parking from my hospital bed in Tenerife to inform you that I had suffered a broken ankle in an accident the day before we were due to fly home. Manchester Airport car park was not informed and tried to charge us £1225 for late pickup. My friend was able to bring the charge down to £225 but we were told that the “ third party “ with whom I had booked had not passed on the information. So for starters I would suggest improving you communication, secondly I had paid an extra fee to cover late collection (though I had not envisioned it would be 9days late so surely that should have covered the fee.
