A cruise holiday is something you will have booked and eagerly anticipated for a long time. Your Southampton port parking should therefore be easy to book and hassle-free. This is why we have a number of different options available. From meet and greet, to parking at the cruise terminals with Triangle Parking, to park and ride options, there is something to suit all customers.
Park and Ride
Cruise Parking Ltd
When you use the Park and Ride service for your Southampton Port parking needs, you will need to drive your car to Cruise Parking's site at North Baddesley just outside Southampton port. Once you've dropped your car off, it will be parked by one of the fully insured drivers. You then need to take the shuttle bus to the port. The transfer takes just 20 minutes and the shuttle bus runs every half an hour from 12 noon to 3.00 pm. As well as a Park Mark award, the secured car park also has regular patrols and 24-hour CCTV.
When you return from your cruise holiday, you can catch the shuttle bus back to the car park. This runs every 30 minutes from 7.00 am to 11.00 am.
Cruise Parking Ltd also provide a 5 minute transfer service at their Drop and Go car park. The same process follows as for the Park and Ride, except this car park is located at Belvidere Road in Southampton. Once you've dropped your car off, you just need to catch the shuttle bus for the 5 minute hop to the terminals. The buses run on demand or every 15 minutes and serve all the cruise terminals.

Triangle Car Parks - Ocean and All Terminals
For parking closer to the terminals, Triangle Parking have it covered. They have 2 car parks; one specifically for the Ocean terminal and one which serves the other main cruise terminals of Mayflower and the QEII terminal.When you arrive at either car park, the barrier has an automatic number plate recognition facility. Simply park in an available space and make your way to the terminals. For the Ocean car park, this will be on foot, as the terminal is only a minute or two walk away. For the other car park serving the other two terminals, a free taxi transfer is included and will take you the short drive to the terminals. This takes less than 5 minutes.
Meet and Greet
Parking for Cruise Ships - Meet and Greet
If you're heading off on a cruise, then this service is the most convenient of all. No matter which terminal you are sailing for, it is just a couple of minutes' walk from the check-in. You simply need to drop off your passengers and luggage, then drive your car to the Short Stay car park for your departure terminal. As you enter the appropriate car park, keep an eye out for a large red flag. This will lead you to the driver who will then take your car to the secured site, where it will stay for the duration of your stay. This site will has CCTV and an on-site caretaker for additional security. You can take the short walk to the departure terminal.
Cruise Terminal layout
Southampton port has four dedicated cruise terminals, which have seen over £40 million of investment. These are named the Mayflower Cruise Terminal, the City Cruise Terminal, the Ocean Cruise Terminal and Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal.
The only ferry that runs from directly from Southampton is to East Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Ferries to France run from the nearby port of Portsmouth.

Check-in
- City Cruise Terminal - This is is for arrivals only and accommodates the larger ships visiting the UK.
- Mayflower Cruise Terminal - Check-in and departure lounge on ground floor. Separate luggage drop-off area.
- Ocean Cruise Terminal - Baggage handling and drop off is located to the left of the terminal. Check-in and the departure lounge are on the first floor. Porters are on hand to help.
- QEII Cruise Terminal - Large covered area for drop off and luggage next to terminal with porters to assist.
Terminal Facilities
Departure lounges
In the Mayflower terminal the departure lounge is on the ground floor. In the Ocean and QEII, they are located on the first floor.
Eating and Drinking
Each of the three main departures terminals has a branch of Cafe Ceanos selling a selection of snacks and drinks, including alcoholic beverages. Prices are very reasonable, with a bacon bap costing only £3 and burgers costing less than £4. There are also vending machines in both the Ocean and QEII terminals.
Baby Changing Facilities
There are baby changing facilities on the first floor of the Ocean terminal.
Shopping
Unfortunately, there are no shops within the cruise terminals.
Wi-Fi
All three terminals have Wi-Fi available.
Special assistance
All of the terminals at Southampton port have fully accessible toilet facilities. There are lifts in the terminals which have departure lounges on the first floor. The lift in the Ocean can take up to 46 people.
