It was not clear at all where I should park at Southampton. I used the short stay car park (as this is what my booking seemed to suggest), but when I returned and put my ticket in the machine it wanted to charge me £144. I had to call for assistance to exit the car park without paying again.

When we left Southampton Airport, the machine tried to charge us £144 even though we had paid in advance. Had to seek assistance to be let out of car park. Fortune I had my confirmation email with me.

A little confusing when first arrived at car park as barrier would not open and no visible signs indicating Purple Parking. Other than that no complaints what so ever,

Barriers and car park attendants don’t recognise bookings automatically any more , so it’s a faff to get in and out. Risk is that you get an unfriendly attendant or they are not there and you are stuck.

I've used Purple Parking in the past at other airports and so I assumed that I was paying for a branded parking slot. I drove round the short stay car park at Southampton Short Term Car Park for a while looking for a Purple Parking sign only to realise that I had just paid for a bog-standard airport parking slot.

Disappointed...you didn't have my booking when I arrived at the airport, had to then contend with £140 bill after three days on the way home..which the car park attendant let me off as they found the booking. I always book with PP and have never had this before so assume it's a one off

Parking was fine. As I mentioned in my booking email - this is the last time I will use purple parking because of your incessant attempt to ram travel insurance upselling down my throat at every turn. Once - ok fine, but 3-4 times at various points during the purchase process is annoying and just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I hope this honest feedback helps you refine your upselling strategy.

The service was good, the drivers polite and helpful BUT I am yet to receive the receipt for the extra £10 that I had to pay following the cancellation of my flight from La Rochelle on 18th, and the later arrival from Nantes on the 19th
