New Barrierless System at Drop Off and Pick Up forecourts
In an effort to help ease congestion and improve traffic flow, Manchester Airport recently updated its Pick-up and Drop-off system, removing the barriers that previously required drivers to pay before leaving. Instead, the new barrierless ANPR system automatically records vehicle registrations, allowing drivers to leave the airport without stopping. Payments must now be made online at pay.manchesterairport.co.uk or by calling 0345 901 3318 before midnight the following day. Failure to do so may result in a £100 fine, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.
