Gatwick Airport Transfers and Parking

The packages on offer at the Sofitel are: Parking at the Hotel and Meet & Greet Parking.

Parking at the Hotel includes parking for the whole of your trip. Drive to Sofitel car park (right next to the hotel) and take a ticket and leave your keys with reception at the podium level of the car park. Your car will then be moved to a secured off-site location by Maple Parking and returned to the hotel before you arrive back.

Meet & Greet Parking includes being met by a chauffeur outside the Sofitel's entrance; they will then take your keys as well as take a photo of your car before moving it to a secured car park six miles away. When you return, your car will be brought to you at the terminal.

Getting to the Airport:

From the Sofitel, the North Terminal is only a 2 minute stroll away via the indoor walkway. If you're flying from the South Terminal, use the same walkway and get the free monorail which takes around 2 minutes.

Rooms

The Sofitel's rooms are nothing short of spacious and immaculate - they're even soundproofed too so you can enjoy runway views without the noise (if you're an aviation fan, the best floor for plane spotting is the 7th!). Rooms come with free WiFi , flat screen TV and the much loved So Sofitel beds.

Dining

You'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to eateries - there are three restaurants: La Brasserie, Vanda Restaurant and Urban Cafe.

Ideal for a spot of dinner is La Brasserie, an AA Rosette award-winning eatery with an impressive menu that includes sea bass scorched belly, slow cooked pork belly, and a roscoff onion & goats cheese tart. The restaurant is open from 6.30pm - 10.30pm daily.

The Vanda Restaurant is a delightful Oriental restaurant with tasty Eastern treats with favourites such as stir fries and spring rolls. Both The Vanda and La Brasserie restaurants can be on the pricey side so if you're on more of a budget we recommend dining at The Urban Cafe.

Breakfast is served in La Brasserie, and is a splendid buffet. Continental treats are available from 5.00am, with cooked items available from 6.30am onwards. Breakfast is served from 5.00am - 10.30am Monday to Friday and from 5.00am - 11.00am at the weekends.
