Terminal layout
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is home to one main terminal, which makes planning your journey through the airport quick and easy. Passengers arrive on the ground floor and the departures lounge is located on the first and second levels.
Check-in
The check-in desks are located on the ground floor opposite the main terminal entrance. As a general rule Liverpool John Lennon Airport recommends you check in two hours prior to departure, with check-in desks closing 40 minutes before scheduled departure time.
Leisure and family facilities
Baby-changing
Baby-changing facilities are available by the toilets on the lower level of the departures lounge, near Subway.
Pushchairs
Pushchairs can be taken through security. However, please be ready to remove your baby for a few minutes while the pushchair is put through the screening x-ray.
Baby milk
It is now possible to take more than the standard 100ml of baby food through security, provided that the milk is for the sole purpose of your journey.
Information desk
Liverpool John Lennon Airportâs information desk is located on the ground floor opposite the check-in desks.
Shopping
At Liverpool John Lennon Airport, thereâs a wide selection of shops to browse while waiting for your flight; ideal for picking up any last minute items. You can enjoy browsing tax free goods in the World Duty Free Shop, where you can purchase items such as perfume, alcohol, tobacco and cosmetics with around 20% off. A free Buy Now, Collect on Return service is available, meaning there is no need to take your shopping away with you â you can simply arrange to pick it up on your return.
Food & drink
Liverpool John Lennon Airport boasts a wide range of options for dining or simply grabbing a snack in the Departure Lounge. Café Ritazza and Starbucks are ideal for a quick coffee or light bite to eat, while options like Frankie & Bennyâs, Kissing Gate, JD Wetherspoon and GO Pizza are on hand for a hot, table service meal. For a faster option, Estuary Kitchen and Grill offers speedy self-service on healthy items, whilst Burger King and Subway are available for fast food and sandwiches.
Business facilities
Business lounge
The Aspire Premium Lounge is located on the lower level of the Departure Lounge and offers complimentary drinks, hot and cold snacks, newspapers and free WiFi; an ideal environment for unwinding before your flight. The lounge is open seven days a week from 4.30am â 8pm and entry costs £18.99 when pre-booked or £21.99 for walk-ups.

Getting online and staying connected
Liverpool John Lennon Airport offers 30 minutes free Wi-Fi to all passengers. Any additional Wi-Fi access is charged at £3 per hour. Alternatively, you can use one of the airportâs internet kiosks located both before and after security.
The airport also offers two phone charging pods for passengers, one before security and one in the Departure Lounge.
Special assistance
If you require special assistance when travelling through Liverpool John Lennon Airport, this should be booked directly with your airline or travel agent. Make sure that you do this at least 48 hours before your scheduled day of departure, specifying whether you require or will be bringing your own mobility aid (i.e. wheelchair, scooter etc.).
Help/call points are located throughout the terminal as well as PRM assistance provided by OCS. Assistance can be requested at the welcome desk in the main terminal building, at the check-in desk or at the âSpecial Assembly Areaâ adjacent to the EasyJet and Servisair ticket desk.
