It will lift to allow you to enter, and you simply need to head inside and park in any available space. How to get to Southampton Port:
There are a variety of ways to get to your terminal, depending which one you are setting sail from. If you are heading to the Ocean Terminal, it is a simple and quick walk away. If you are heading to any of the other terminals, you can be there within 4 minutes with the included taxi transfer, for up to 4 people. Once you've parked, give the taxi company a ring on the number you are provided in the booking confirmation, and you will be sent a text message with your private transfer's registration number.
What to do when you return:
Either make the quick walk back to the car park if you're returning from the Ocean terminal, or give the taxi company a ring once you're ready to leave. A private taxi will pick you up and whisk you back to the car park within minutes.
