Acorn Lodge Hotel Gatwick

Although this lodge may only have 22 en-suite rooms, Acorn Lodge is a very popular Gatwick Airport hotel amongst travellers due to its great staff and 24 hour airport shuttle service. It even has its own outside patio and BBQ to be enjoyed in the warmer months.

Gatwick Airport Transfers and Parking

The package on offer at Acorn Lodge Gatwick Airport is: Parking at the Hotel.

Parking at the Hotel includes parking at the hotel whilst you're on holiday. All you need to do is park in any space and check-in at reception and leave your keys there; this is because your car will be moved to a secure car park a short distance from the hotel.

Getting to the Airport:

Acorn Lodge has a very useful shuttle bus that goes to and from the airport 24 hours a day. It runs every 30 minutes both on the hour and at every half an hour.

The shuttle bus journey takes 5 minutes to both Gatwick terminals and costs £3.50 per person each way.

We advise you leave with a bit of time to spare as the bus only has 8 seats and is run on a first come first served basis.

Rooms

All of the 22 guestrooms are homely and comfy - your en-suite will either come with a bath or a shower. A majority of the rooms are nicely decorated doubles that come with a comfy double bed and armchair. There are also twin, triple and family room options.

Rooms come with: free WiFi, TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee maker and an en-suite bathroom.

Check-In: from 2.00pm. Check-out: by 11.00am

Dining

Acorn Lodge is nothing short of impressive when it comes to food! The lodge's Mellissa Restaurant serves up a storm with head chef Mr Veli's insistence on using only the best, freshest ingredients in his Mediterranean inspired dishes. You will not find a microwave in the kitchen at Acorn Lodge!

On the menu for dinner is an a la carte menu which is an interesting blend of Italian, French and Turkish cuisine; opt for roast lamb, shish kebabs or fresh sole. You needn't worry about not finding anything you like as there's over 20 main courses for you to choose from! On average, starters are around £5.00 and main courses are £8.00 and can go up to £18.50 for fish dishes.

Don't forget to start your day right with breakfast - whether it's cereal and fruit or a Full English cooked breakfast, the portions are big and filling - and don't make a hole in your wallet. Book in advance and pay only £3.00 per person for the continental buffet (from 6.00am - 9.00am) or £5.00 per person for the cooked breakfast (7.00am - 9.00am).

You can also head to the bar to get yourself in the holiday mood, where you can choose from a host of beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and snacks.

Accessibility

Please note that Acorn Lodge Gatwick doesn't have a lift and quite steep stairs so we advise that if you have limited mobility to request a ground floor room. There are not any accessible rooms at present unfortunately.
